From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Preston-on-Stour is a village in Warwickshire, England found some four kilometres south of Stratford-on-Avon. As the village name suggests the River Stour flows along it's eastern fringe and the A3400 runs about 1 kilometre east. The village was historically part of Gloucestershire until in changed counties in 1931.[1] The village church is dedicated to Saint Mary.[2] The village did have an Infant and Primary School but this closed in 1974.[3] The childrens televison show the Teletubbies was filmed about two kilometres south of the village.[4]
