Preston, Washington

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Preston is an unincorporated community in King County, Washington, United States. Preston is a small exurban community on the northeast edge of the large Tiger Mountain State Forest, along Interstate 90. Because Preston is located within commuting distance of Seattle and Bellevue, Preston is increasingly becoming a wealthy bedroom community, although logging still remains an important industry. It is home to several small stores such as the Preston General store, Sherm's BBQ, a coffee shop and a post office as well as several larger ones, such as the bottled water company, Talking Rain.
