The Presidential Records Act Amendments of 2007 is a resolution being considered by the United States Congress. Introduced in early March 2007 by Representative Henry Waxman, the objective of the resolution is to void Executive Order 13233 by amending the Presidential Records Act.[1]
On March 14, 2007, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the resolution, voting 333-93 in its favor. [2] The bill will next be debated by the U.S. Senate.
A similar resolution was debated by a House committee in 2002, but never reached the House floor.
