Presidency School is managed by Abdul Hameed Memorial Educational Trust, Bangalore, which was founded by late Mr. Abdul Hameed who belonged to a well known family of freedom fighters and educationists. The present chairman of the trust is Mr. Nissar Ahmed who is assisted by the principal of the college and the members of the trust in the efficient day-to-day functioning of the college. The management is guided by the philosophy as laid down by its founders.

Away from the distractions of Bangalore city, the college is located in the calm and healthy environs of R. T. Nagar, near HMT Layout. However, it is well connected and is a mere 10 km from the city railway station and the bus terminus and 18 km from the airport.

[edit] Extracurricular activities

Activities available to student include literary club, dramatics club, Rotary Interact and various music and dance clubs. Instruments like Sitar, Violin, Guitar, Keyboard, Tabla, Mridangam, Veena and Harmonium are taught.

The school is also renowned for various activities in which we have a monopoly of winning. The school cricket team has been amongst the best and has bagged the Cottonian Shield. The Times NIE Playfest has been another area we have mastered.Also students like Jigar Shah,Anoop Kumar and Rohit Bagalani have contributed to the school's achievements in the field of tennis.Jigar is also nominated for the national popular student award.Akshay Surendra is another persevering student.
