Prensa Latina, legal name Agencia de Noticias Latinoamericana S.A., is a news agency of Cuban origin, founded on 1959 shortly after the Cuban Revolution (Revolución cubana).

Prensa Latina was founded with the initiative of Ernesto Che Guevara, being the founder and first manager the Argentinian journalist Jorge Ricardo Masetti. On the initial group of journalist were among others Gabriel García Márquez, Rodolfo Walsh, Rogelio García Lupo and Carlos María Gutiérrez.

Prensa Latina has it central office in Havana, Cuba and its goal is to provide an alternative news source of international topics and events. Main to its purpose is Latin American events and has 22 offices most of them in America.
