Premio Carlo Vittadini

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Premio Carlo Vittadini is a Group 2 flat horse race in Italy for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at San Siro Racecourse in late May or early June.

Previously titled the Premio Emilio Turati, it was re-named in 2008 in memory of Carlo Vittadini (1915–2007), an Italian owner of racehorses, notably including Grundy, and also a former owner of Beech House Stud.
