The PASL-Pro division will is the league's foray into the professional ranks, and expects to have each team play a 16-game schedule running from October 25 through March. Partnering with Mexico's F.I.F.R.A. (Federation Internatonal Futbol Rapido Association) to create its own league and have a finals match with the PASL, the league is aiming for the United States and Canada for teams, hoping to draw arenas varying in capacity from 2,500 to 7,500 seats.
On May 18, at the league meetings at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, they announced the first two teams to join that league. The Stockton Cougars (formerly the California Cougars of the MISL) will be switching leagues, and the Premier Men's team Wenatchee Fire will be launching a pro team to play at the brand-new Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center. A final team lineup, league schedule, and playoff format will be announced at the next owners' meeting on June 18. [1]
