Predosa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km southeast of Turin and about 20 km south of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,068 and an area of 32.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Predosa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Retorto, Castelferro, and Mantovana.
Predosa borders the following municipalities: Basaluzzo, Bosco Marengo, Capriata d'Orba, Carpeneto, Casal Cermelli, Castellazzo Bormida, Castelspina, Fresonara, Rocca Grimalda, and Sezzadio.
