Schematic representation of microtubule arrays typical for mitosis in plant cells:

1) Preprophase with preprophase band visible along the plasma membrane circling the nucleus.
2) Metaphase with acentrosomal mitotic spindle.
3) Telophase with newly formed daughter nuclei, phragmoplast microtubule array and cell plate growing from the center outwards (new cell wall already formed in center).
4) Daughter cells after cytokinesis is complete.
