[edit] Literally?

This page says that pratikrama "literally" means "introspection" - however it literally means going (krama) back (prati). "Introspection" is an abstraction derived from the literal meaning. A traditional etymology derives is from returning (pra) from evil (atikraman) - ie returning to purity - which is almost certainly wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.6.99.239 (talk) 18:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
