[edit] Confusing
I am very confused by this article. The first paragraph explains that Charles V split the Habsburg lands between Phillip II and Ferdinand I. The second paragraph then immediately says "A succession crisis was clearly looming", refers to the upcoming death of Charles II, and talks about the "union of French and Spanish dominions".
Something is missing from the article and I don't know what that might be. Molinari 17:55, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. Looking at the article history I see that a paragraph explaining this was deleted by a vandal. I have restored the paragraph. Molinari 18:00, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pragmatic sanction 1713 or 1723?
Are we sure that the pragmatic sanction occured in 1713? Everywhere else i have read has cited 1723 as the date...
