Prazeres, Madeira

Prazeres (Portuguese meaning pleasures) is a parish in the district of Calheta in the Madeira Islands. The population in 2001 is 672, its density is about 51.7/km² and the area is about 13 km². It is located on a road linking with Jardim do Mar and its main road. The main industry is agriculture. It is connected with a road linking. The mountains are situated to the north and east while the valley with the plains lie to the west.
