Praise In The Night is a nationally-syndicated Christian radio program that airs during the overnight hours (11PM - 6AM); it is produced by the International Broadcasting Network (IBN) of Dallas, Texas, and has aired ever since 1991. PITN is currently hosted by Steve Solomon, a Messianic Jew originally from Florida; it's aired to stations nationwide from headquarters at Dallas radio station KVTT-FM 91.7.

Actually, Praise In The Night was first broadcast in June of 1988, originated and hosted by Patrick Rutherford. PITN became one of the most loved programs by listeners on KVTT, Dallas, Texas, as well as stations across the U.S. Pat will tell you it had absolutely NOTHING to do with him. He called himself merely a "trained monkey", pushing buttons and playing songs that blessed him, as well as the listeners. He worshiped right along with them each night.

Pat and the owners of PITN had a differing of opinion in January of 1990, and Pat was fired. The owners wanted to develop it into more of a "talking and praying" program, and Pat wanted to keep it playing the music that had become so dear to the peoples' hearts. Pat now is President of Praise Broadcasting Network ( www.pbnradio.com ) out of Asheboro, North Carolina, and hosts, along with his wife Claudia, a LIVE 2 hour broadcast called "Praise Until Dawn". Praise Broadcasting Network can be heard 24 hours a day around the world.
