Prairie Middle School is a school located in Aurora, Colorado. Its motto is "Diversity is our strength". Also, Roberta Ford, 1990 teacher of the year came to Prairie Middle School. Dr. Cassaday, the principal presently is demonstrating our schools students greatly. Prairie's school schedule consists of 9 periods. 6th graders have one elective and 1 access on Fridays. They also have 90 minutes of math every day. 7th and 8th graders, however, have 2 electives and 1 access on Fridays. Mondays and Wednesdays are called blue days. Tuesdays and Thursdays are called green days. Fridays are called hawk days. On blue and green days, students will go to different classes for 90 minutes each. On Fridays they go to all of their classes for 45 minutes except for 6th graders in math. Also, Prairie is divided into 3 communities. 1, 2, and 3. Each community consists of 5 teams of about 120 student each. Also, each community has all grades.
