Prairie Crossing is a station on Metra's Milwaukee District/North Line in Libertyville, Illinois. The station is located on 3001 West Harris Road, is 39.9 miles (64.2 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line,[1] and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. The station house is unmanned and consists of attached prefabricated office trailers.
The station also provides access to another Prairie Crossing Station along the North Central Service line. Like that station, this Prairie Crossing station is in zone H of Metra's zone-based fare system.
