Pragati Express

Pragati Express (Marathi: प्रगती एक्स्प्रेस) is an express train that plies daily between the cities of Pune and Mumbai in India. It is operated by the Indian Railways and comes under the Central Railway zone. It is one of the six point-to-point express trains that carry thousands of passengers daily between Pune and Mumbai, the other five being Sinhagad Express, Deccan Queen, Deccan Express, Indrayani Express and Intercity Express.
The word pragati means progress in Marathi.

Pragati Express departs from Pune Station towards Mumbai at 07:50 IST and reaches Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai at 11:15 IST. It leaves Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai on the same day at 16:25 IST (4:25 PM IST) and reaches Pune Station at 19:53 IST (7:53 PM IST) on the same day. It covers a distance of 192 km in one direction during its journey. Its train number is 2126 while travelling from Pune to Mumbai, whereas it is 2125 during the return journey.
