Pradhan Senapati
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pradhan Senapati, literally meaning "Chief General" (with the word Pradhan meaning "Chief) but usually translated as "Chief of the Army Staff", is the title of the professional head of the Nepalese Army. The rank is considered to be an equivalent of a General of the Army.[1]
Pradhan Senapati has its own rank insignia, slightly similar to the United Kingdom rank of Field Marshal.
The rank of Pradhan Senapti is presently held by General Rukmangad Katwal of the Nepalese Army.
