Prabodh Tirkey (born October 6, 1984) is the captain of the Indian Hockey Team. He was also the national captain of sub-junior, junior & India-A team and finally became the India senior team captain.
He is also the younger brother of Indian Hockey player Ignace Tirkey, who also has captained the Indian Senior Team, and Ansuta Tirkey (International Hockey Player). His idol is another Indian captain and one of the best defenders in world hockey, Dilip Tirkey, both shares the same hometown "Sundergarh".
