Prabhu Ganesan

Prabhu Ganesan (Tamil: பிரபு) (born December 31) is a popular Kollywood actor. A native of Tamil Nadu, he is the son of veteran actor Dr. Sivaji Ganesan. Recently he starred in blockbusters such as Chandramukhi, Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, and Billa.

Prabhu has appeared in over 125 films. After his debut in the film Sangili in 1982, he made several hit films during the '80s. Apart from taking the lead role, he has acted in several types of roles, including comedian roles and antagonistic roles. Prabhu frequently appeared alongside Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, and his father, Sivaji Ganesan during this time period.
He received a Best Actor Award in 1991. His film Chinna Thambi broke existing box office records in 1991. He also appeared in the multi-starrer and record-breaker film Suyamvaram. After not having much fame during the late 80s and early noughts, he appeared alongside Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi in 2005 in which his role was admired by many fans.
His latest role was a Malaysian cop in Billa in 2007, which he co-starred with Ajith Kumar. He is currently acting in Silambattam, Ayan, and Kuselan in supporting roles.
