[edit] Plot

PQ Angels begins when two aliens, P-ko (Peanut) and Q-ko (Kyuuri) arrive on Earth from the planet Fuiren. They have come to find their missing queen. They take the forms of cockroaches but when they "kiss" or land on a human's lips they transform into humans.

The PQ Angels have 3 Principles, which they must uphold:
1. Do not injure a human.
2. Protect yourself and your allies.
3. Do not fall in love with a human.

The PQ Angels are the Fuiren Queen Anko's strongest bodyguards, the Orc Halberd Oniwaban, on their home planet of Fuiren. As a symbol of their status, P-ko and Q-ko both were given figures of golden dolphins, known as "shachibone." The Queen resides in Fujiyama Castle, that can only be reached by set of 108 steps. However, just after P-ko and Q-ko were promoted to Orc Halberd Oniwaban, Queen Anko mysteriously vanished.

P-ko and Q-ko attend school at Koganemushi Private Academy. They are in 7th grade, where Peanut goes by the name Rakkasei Piiko and Kyuuri goes by the name Nigauri Kyuuko. (Rakkasei means "peanut" and Nigauri means "cucumber"). They tell the students at school they are from Hawaii.

To transform into their fighting mode (so they can fight the bad guys) P-ko and Q-ko must kiss.

The villains in this manga are the Kunoichi Bank. They are out to follow the PQ Angels and get something from them, simply referred to as "the object" that their ruler, Pyrethrum-sama, desires.

[edit] Characters

P-Ko (ピーナツP-KO Rakkasei P-Ko?)
P-ko, or Rakkasei Piiko, (Rakkasei means "peanut") is highly energetic, and very cute. She's a lot like Usagi Tsukino from Sailormoon , in that she's boy-crazy, bouncy, and eats like a pig. Like Q-ko, she is an alien from the planet Furien, and is also a cockroach sometimes. When P-ko is a cockroach, she has a little red heart on her back.
P-ko has a huge crush on Ouji, and takes advantage of her kissing situation from the beginning. The first human she kisses as a cockroach is Ouji, and after she changed into a teenage girl, Ouji was very freaked out (even more than when the cockroach jumped on his lips...). P-ko made it a point to keep near Ouji, and the girls even moved in next door to Ouji and his brother, Ouga. She wasn't too happy about working with Q-ko at first, but that soon changed.
Q-Ko (きゅうりQ-KO Nigauri Q-Ko?)
Q-ko, or Nigauri Kyuuko, (Nigauri means "cucumber") is level-headed, and very strong, mentally. She's a lot like Rei Hino from Sailormoon , in that she's level-headed, graceful, and her attacks are similar. Like P-ko, she is an alien from the planet Furien, and is also a cockroach sometimes. When Q-ko is a cockroach, she has a little green star on her back.
Q-ko seems to like Ouga, even if she hasn't quite fallen in love with him like P-ko did with his brother, Ouji. The first time she transformed into a human on Earth, she used Ouga as her kiss. It's possible that she has a crush on Ouga, since she has the temperament to never let on that she might be breaking a rule.Q-ko can be a little bit frustrate with P-ko's immaturity, because while she is very focused on the mission, P-ko tends to be more light hearted on focused on the humans. However, she becomes good friends with P-ko never the less in a short while.
Ouji
Hagemashi Ouji is pretty level-headed, but becomes a bit of a fanatic of the girls for a while. He becomes obsessed with their weirdness, and even more frustrated because it seems like he's the only person who notices, despite all his "evidence". He is determined to discover the truth about the girls.
He hates bugs, so is terrified when P-ko lands on his lips. P-ko really loves Ouji, but even if Ouji reciprocates the feelings, he doesn't show it. At a Christmas party, Ouji sat under the mistletoe with P-ko... but he didn't give her a kiss until later, when they were being attacked. And even then, the kiss was an accident, and as soon as it happened, P-ko turned into a cockroach and thoroughly freaked out Ouji.
Ouga
Hagemashi Ouga is Ouji's older brother. He is smart and sophisticated. He's an all around nice guy, and he doesn't find it too weird that P-ko and Q-ko moved into the house that was a vacant lot minutes before.
Even if Q-ko might, maybe, have a tiny crush on Ouga, it is uncertain. As far as the reader can tell, he thinks that both of the girls are nice, maybe a little bit eccentric, but cute all the same.
Queen Anko
Queen Anko is the missing monarch of Furien, and also the focus of P-ko and Q-ko's mission. Anko holds the secret to the legendary Giraffe stone, and it is possible she may have been abducted for that reason. Or she may have run away... details are unclear. All that is known about the stone itself is that it gives great power to whomever has it, and that Anko is the only person who knows where it is.
The manga ended when the manuscripts were lost, so Anko was never found, but it is more than likely that, had the manga continued, P-ko and Q-ko would have found their queen (and possibly paired up with Onji and Ouga respectively).
General Paichuu
The general looks like a typical Grey... the only main difference is he has a star on his forehead. The General is very loud (he likes to shout at P and Q), and also sensible. He awarded the girls their new rank and gave them each dolphin statuettes (which they placed in their home on earth on the fireplace.). He also is the person who gave them their mission... and told them that the queen wasn't certified to be abducted. He also reminded the girls of the Furien Principles.
Honey
Honey is the first clay shrine maiden the girls meet. She has a large white head with no hair on it, and she clearly looks up to the two girls. (she calls them "P-sama" and "Q-sama", which is a very high form of respect). Honey gave the girls an Anko-type Queen sensor- which is a cylinder made of glass(?) which will help them on their mission. It gets thicker when the Queen is near, and thinner when an enemy is around.
Rennyuu
Rennyuu is asked by Q-ko to help her cook for a party they had at their house. Rennyuu means "condensed milk" and she helps Q-ko serve the food to their guests. She also tells Q-ko she'll only help for money, which Q-ko promises to put into her account. She has a tail like a mermaid, but can have legs and walk around as well. To get legs, she pours a liquid from her teapot onto her tail. Rennyuu is also from Furien, but doesn't have the same qualities as P-ko and Q-ko.
Cecil
Cecil is a pretty girl with long, light curls. She is interested in the occult, extraterrestrials, and fortune telling. She notices that there is something strange about P-ko and Q-ko, but it is uncertain to if she knows they are extraterrestrials.
Sunia
Sunia is one of the girls that P and Q befriend in school. Sunia is convinced that Ouji is perfect for P-ko... but she's about the only one.
Kuria
Kuria is one of the girls P and Q befriend in school. She is cheerful and energetic, and fleetingly wonders of P-ko is the princess from the moon.

[edit] Villans

Pyrethrum and the Kunoichi Bank
Pyrethrum is the leader of the Kunoichi Bank, the group of villains in this series. He requires an "object" (the details are unclear, but it is presumably the Giraffe Stone).
The first group of villains he sends after the girls are Cyanophos, Bromophos, and Prothiophos... they followed P and Q to get the object Pyrethrum desired, but were destroyed by P and Q.
The next group sent was a pair, called Fenitrothion and Fenthion, who disguise themselves as magicians, and go by the pseudo name "the Magicians in Black" or "MIB" (A pun on men in black). The girls discovered the two dolphin statuettes that Paichuu gave them emits a powerful force field energy, and that their house forms a magnetic field... they never got to use this information, though, because the girls destroyed them.
The next group were a couple of beer-drinking girls named Baigon and Demilin , who recognized P-ko as a Furien when she was competing in the school sports festival. They were recognized by the cylinder they received from Honey as being dangerous enemies and impostors. In their real form they are similar to Cyanophos, Bromophos, and Prothriophos. They, too, were destroyed by P-ko and Q-ko.
Perthine and Pyrethin: These two crashed the Christmas party the girls were having dressed as two Santas. They claim that they will take what Pyrethrum-sama desires by taking advantage that they were busy at their party. They possess two men and turn them into giants to crash the Christmas party. The girls use their Gigantic Mode to fight the monsters off. P and Q successfully fight off the giant monsters with a special holiday attack. They defeat the evil spirits of the Santa Sisters and free the two men. It begins to snow, the girls both have wings and a halo and the party goers are all convinced that they are simply angels. The men see the 'Angels' and declare that they have reformed from their evil and greedy ways.

It should be noted that all the villains names are derived from Pesticides.
