Template:Pp-create

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In order to use this on non-existent pages, simply set it as the protection reason and it will be rendered like it would on a normal page— similar to how templated block messages are rendered.

  • Use {{pp-create}} for the normal template
  • Use {{pp-create|xfd=Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Example}} to create a link to the deletion discussion.
  • Use {{pp-create|expiry=July 15, 2008}} for a specific expiration date
  • Use {{pp-create|small=yes}} for just an icon at the top (not recommended for protected titles as no explanation is given to user)
  • Use {{pp-create|expiry={{subst:#time:F j, Y|+7 days}}}} for a specific expiration time period

Note that (UTC) will be added automatically.

This template is not to be used as a bluff. It should only be used as a protection reason on non-existent pages or pages that have been deleted. Please note that only administrators can protect pages.
