[edit] "Frank Zappa inspired character"?

The sentence "He was based on a Frank Zappa inspired character" seems badly formed; I doubt that PTM was based on a character that was inspired by Frank Zappa. (Two levels of derivation...) Maybe he was, but it seems more likely that he was inspired by, or based on, a character created by Frank Zappa. In one of Zappa's songs, perhaps? I'm interested in the connection between Zappa and PTM, so would love a clarification and some more details, thanks! Kronocide (talk) 19:15, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
