Powhatan High School is a public high school located in Powhatan community in Powhatan County, Virginia. It is part of the Powhatan County School Division. Athletic teams compete in the Virginia High School League's AA Southside District in Region I.

In 2003 Powhatan High School opened their doors to a new school. The old one did not have near enough room for all of the students and multiple classes were held in trailers for years to accommodate all the the children.
