[edit] Overveiw

Three criminals are committing crimes in poor Powerpuff Girl disguises. Amazingly enough though, everyone is tricked, and the girls must capture the crooks. Making things all the more urgeant is that they are placed in jail for crimes they didn't commit!

[edit] Summary

After being continuously foiled by them, three criminals (sharing the same cell for cooperation in the same crimes) lament about their subduing and imprisonment by the Powerpuff Girls.

They then get the idea to disguise themselves as the Powerpuff Girls using (conveniently placed) outfits they find in the cell's clothes locker. Immediately, they are let free by an oblivious guard and soon after they proceed to rob the places they had before via, asking "politely" in high falsetto voices.

However, on their way out from one of their "robberies" The Mayor catches them....and invites them to his house for lunch with him and Ms. Bellum thinking they are the real Powerpuff Girls. AFTER they leave Ms. Bellum exposes them as fakes by pointing out the obvious differences, only for the Mayor to warrant the arrest for the REAL Powerpuff Girls much to her exasperation.

While in jail, (wondering what they could have possibly done to end up there) the girls are visiting by Ms. Bellum (who knew they were innocent) and are clued them into who the actual culprits were...

It doesn't take long before they locate the doppelgangers in a Chinese restaurant closed for inspection on their accounts.

The crooks are very easily defeated and the day is quickly saved.

EXCEPT one more problem: In order to get out of jail for the final showdown the girls had to literally break out of jail, which is against the law as Blossom stated before they did. So they have to go right back and serve time for that! The mayor and Ms. Bellum and everyone else thinks that this situation is rather funny, so they talk about seeing the girls on visiting days.
