Poverty Island

Poverty Island is a small island in the U.S. state of Michigan. The island is within Delta County in Lake Michigan and is home to an abandoned lighthouse which is in disrepair. According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Poverty Island is now a National Wildlife Refuge and is owned by the federal government.[1][2]
