Pound Middle School

Pound Middle School is one of the eleven middle schools in the Lincoln Public Schools school district. It is located at 4740 South 45th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. It currently in the 2006-2007 school year has approximately 800 students enrolled. It was established in 1963 and was named in honor of the family of Stephen Bosworth Pound. Family members include son Roscoe, and daughters Olivia and Louise. Pound Middle School's phone number is 402-436-1217. Its current principal is Dr. Chris Deibler. The school colors are green and yellow and the mascot is the Squire-The knight in "training". (students feed into Southeast High School where the KNIGHT is the mascot.)

Pound primarily feeds into Lincoln Southeast High School, but a sizable number of students attend Lincoln Southwest High School instead, depending on geographic proximity and the sports students would like to excel in.
