An aerial photo of the World Trade Center complex, 12 days after its destruction on September 11, 2001. This image, as taken by a NOAA Cessna Citation from an altitude of 3,300 feet (1,000 m), shows NYC firefighters and construction equipment surrounding the debris created by the attack.
