Pottsville High School

Pottsville High School is a secondary school located in Pottsville, Arkansas completed in 1998 and administered by the Pottsville School District No. 61.

As of 2006, the school principal is Mr. Jonathan Bradley.

In 1999-2000, the school was named one of "America's Top 100" technology in education schools.

The school was formerly located on the same campus as the Elementary and Middle schools, but a new building was built in 1998 with an addition installed in 2000 and features several state of the art facilities, including a complete chemistry lab several computer labs for technological learning. A new Junior High School was opened on February 2007 near the High school site.

[edit] Athletics

The school's sports teams are called the Apaches and the Lady Apaches. For football, the Apaches participate in the state's AAA classification.


In 1997, Pottsville won the boy's Class A state championship in cross country running.[1]
