Potamididae, common name the horn snails, is a family of small to medium-sized sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs of the order Sorbeoconcha.

These snails live in tropical and temperate seas worldwide.

This family of snails mostly live in the intertidal zone, on mud flats.

These are tall-spired shells, with a rounded aperture and a very short siphonal canal.
