Image uploaded by indef blocked ConoscoTutto (talk · contribs), aka indef blocked SFTVLGUY2 (talk · contribs) & other socks. Blocked for various problems, including uploading other people's photos with false claims to be the photographer & copyright holder. I just today found the SFTVLGUY2 "photo taken by myself" of Petula Clark was a copyviol from petulaclark.net. I haven't come across the source from this one, but have no reason to think the blocked user was more honest in this case. -- Infrogmation (talk) 00:52, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Image on Flikr is released on a non-free licence cc by-nc-sa/2.0/ at [1] - uploader says he is not Tetsuo Harada on his user page so cant release it into the public domain. CSD I9 candidate. MilborneOne (talk) 16:50, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

  • No, I don't hold the copyright of the design, I imagine that may be covered by Crown copyright. I did create the image myself in Corel PhotoPaint, so that I would not have to "steal" an image from a DND site. But go ahead, delete it if you wish. I really do not care anymore. I'm not going to waste any more of my time trying to jump through these hoops to make a nice image for an article; I'm not skilled enough to whip them out like some good artists, and I don't have great art software, so I just try to do what I can with what I have. Not good enough? Well, you're going to have to make it yourself; I'm not going to bother. Taskwise it's invariably thankless and usually pointless. SigPig |SEND - OVER 01:24, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

The claimed license is Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. I could not find any mention of a creative commons license on the website that the image came from. The claimed author of the image is another website, which is licensed under a noncommercial creative commons license. BlueAzure (talk) 18:52, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
