The image is tag as being public domain because it was published prior to 1923. The date given in the summary is 1923, which is not prior to 1923 and is most likely false as the uploader's puppetmaster has a history of repeatedly providing false information about images. Although the images origin & back-up info is questionable, it is a logo for Wykagyl Park, serving the purpose of identifying the town. It should remain on the page but with the proper rationale ( Non-free / fair use media rationale - non-free logo for Wykagyl Park, New York (Because it is a logo there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Likewise, 'any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary')).--Oy'Peanuts (talk) 02:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't see how this could be used under fair use. We don't have an article about Wykagyl Park or even an article that mentions it. It appears to be a community (not a town) in Wykagyl(the article it was on). It would not meet fair use criteria in that article and I can't find anything to indicate that it is currently used in any official capacity. BlueAzure (talk) 01:13, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
