Copyright dubious as work was published in what is claimed a 1960's book. Furthermore, I am not sure the users are being faithful to the caption or if the image is really from this obscure book! I could not find more images of this picture from any other work. This image is reportedly over 100 years old, it's from painting in 19th century by V. V. Vereschagin (1842–1904) appearing in a more recent book. Prior attempt to remove it was made by banned User:Artaxiad, so the IP account attempt to do the same is suspicious, as pointed out by Atabek at Image talk:Noble-shushavian1.jpg.

Judging from your mentality, then it should have been as suspicious if I opened an account. What an unbiased and competent administrator. If the image was painted in 1800's it does not mean it was published back then. There is a difference between creating and publication. If I chiseled a rock 100 years ago and photographed/published it 10 years ago, there is a slight difference. The copyvio is clearly violated. I also asked for a clear scan of the whole page to make sure it is indeed even from the book they claim and this was the original caption - and where do we go - if I am a banned user or not - nice to get off point! The entirety of the user's image uploads appear to be off web copyvios from a variety of sources mostly Sinodefence and GlobalSecurity.org. I have attempted to talk to the user, but the account appears to have gone dead. Would suggest deleting the lot. Looks like a promo isn't much to go on. Perhaps it is a promo photo and the uploader took it, or perhaps it's just a hobby photo.
