Article caption indicates the image was sourced from a men's magazine, hence uploader probably doesn't own the copyright.Addhoc (talk) 00:08, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Claims to be a "redraw" and licensed under GFDL and CC-BY-SA. Doubt that the uploader owns the copyright; seems to think that redrawing it transfers the copyright to him. — Stannered (talk) 00:44, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

If the crest was put in place at the birth of the school (pre-1923), then the crest itself is in the public domain and the redraw is completely legitimate.--Prosfilaes (talk) 03:35, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
True, although it has no assertion to that effect. Stannered (talk) 09:03, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
I've updated the page to reflect the reality of the situation: 'Rationale: The crest was designed in 1923 by Archbishop St. Clair Donaldson (1863-1935). Copyright expiration released the crest into public domain 50 years after the death of Donaldson (pre-1955 known author, 50 years after death) in 1985. This reinterpretation of the crest, which is slightly different from the multiple different versions of promulgated crests, is transferred into the GFDL. I have also removed the PUI claim, as it is now dealt with. Bilious (talk) 00:20, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm going out on a limb and assuming that the uploader probably did not take this photo (driver's license photo or mug shot) of a 9/11 hijacker B (talk) 05:39, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Mismatched image license with the source. No assertion of GNU license in the source webpage. Dekisugi (talk) 12:28, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Celtic Green.jpg

No evidence of GNU license from the source I found here. A possible copy-vio that the uploader has the copyright. Dekisugi (talk) 12:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Appears to be an altered version of a copyrighted image, but not altered enough as to be a derivative work. See related AfD here. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 13:13, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Claims to have subjects permission but no permission appears. Also uploader has had a number of these claims disputed Quentin X (talk) 22:18, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps if you would like to read the page you might discover that the permission was granted from the management company and the artist his/her self. I have no intention of running to them for them to sign autohgraphed letters for some petty sceptics who have nothing better to do than call people liars. Delete them if you wish I am doing this for the artists free gratis at thier request and I am tired of all the petty people who seem to think that everything is a lie and all people are liars. It will not be my loss it will be Wikipedias loss Austenlennon (talk) 01:04, 10 January 2008 (UTC)austenlennon

Image comes from http://cmsweb1.loudoun.k12.va.us/50971722111320/site/default.asp, it was uploaded by a vandalism-only account (see the history of John Cowne for the abuse from this account and fellow socks) so there is no reason to believe this user owns the photo.
