[edit] Image:Eminem The Lost Tapes.jpg

While this pseudo-album cover is self-made, the underlying photo is likely used in violation of copyright. Mdsummermsw (talk) 19:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Baliles.jpg

Seems to be a professional photo portrait, and is used on multiple other sites according to Google images.[1]Tom (talk - email) 00:34, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Eeis 03 img0964.jpg

The image is copyrighted by AP/WIDE WORLD PHOTOS. The uploader claimed that the copyright holder released it into the public domain, but I do not see any indication of that. — BlueAzure (talk) 03:37, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Jackiefullerton.jpg

As the image is a bookcover the copyright does not belong to the author or his publicist to begin with, it belongs to the publisher of the book - Mainstream Publishing. — One Night In Hackney303 04:46, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

I am afraid you are quite wrong - Jackie Fullerton supplied the photograph to the publisher. Where did you get your facts that the publisher owned the rights as they are wrong? Austenlennon (talk) 12:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)austenlennon

It's a standard thing in publishing, book covers are copyrighted by the publishing company. Regardless of who supplied the photo (and given it is a photo of Jackie Fullerton it's less likely he owned the copyright to begin with), that point remains the same. One Night In Hackney303 17:57, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

You logic defies reality! Because the photograph is a photograph of Jackie Fullerton which Jackie Fullerton paid and owns and has confirmed to me that he owns outright! You, solely, on your own have determined that he doesn't own the copyright! You have no right to delete this image but I suspect you are backing your mates by doing so. I will spell this out for you as it appears that you need it spelt out..... JACKIE FULLERTON OWNS THE COPYRIGHT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE BOOK COVER AND HE HAS GIVEN FULL PERMISSION FOR WIKIPEDIA TO USE IT. No doubt you will ignore this. Austenlennon (talk) 18:59, 3 February 2008 (UTC)austenlennon

Yes, I will ignore it. The burden of evidence is on you to prove the statement is true, rather than just assert it. This and this tend to suggest you have little to no association with the company you claim to represent. Copyright is taken seriously on Wikipedia, and you have to prove that the images have been released on the licence you claim. You've also contradicted what you said here where you claim "I own the copyright of these photos (and yes all of them)". Given the number of discrepencies, it is very much up to you to prove everything you say. One Night In Hackney303 00:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Protagonist Baroque.JPG

This is a scan from the manga, Baroque (Manga), so unless the uploader happens to be Shinsyu Ueda, the copyright tag is invalid. Marasmusine (talk) 08:53, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Lalla Ward.jpg

Uploader claims to be creator of this image, however at [2] it is claimed to be fair-use — Rodhullandemu (Talk) 18:05, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

'208.63.176.87 (talk) 20:10, 3 February 2008 (UTC)The answers page is just ripped off of Wikipedia. They're obviously the ones who are in error, not us.
