Claims to have subjects permission but no permission appears. Also uploader has had a number of these claims disputed Quentin X (talk) 12:10, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

It appears that I have upset Quentin X and he/she is now pursuing a vendata against my contributuions. Perhaps if he would like to read the page you might discover that the permission was granted from the management company and the artist his/her self. I have no intention of running to them for them to sign autographed letters for some petty sceptics who have nothing better to do than call people liars. Delete them if you wish I am doing this for the artists free gratis at thier request and I am tired of all the petty people who seem to think that everything is a lie and all people are liars. It will not be my loss it will be Wikipedias loss Austenlennon (talk) 01:04, 10 January 2008 (UTC)austenlennon —Preceding unsigned comment added by Austenlennon (talkcontribs)

No verification given that Curry, the presumed copyright holder, has released this image under the GFDL. Also, the source website is a broken link. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 14:35, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Adrianne Curry personally gave me permission to release this picture. Any question of it being an unfree image you can contact me directly. There is no URL to the picture because it does not exist anywhere but here. User:dmckeehan
Please forward Curry's permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org so that it can be verified by an WP:OTRS volunteer. Without corroboration, this image appears to be in violation of copyright. Thanks ˉˉanetode╦╩ 05:25, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Unlikely that uploader is copyright holder Rettetast (talk) 15:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

The artist was the uploader, the painting is in the collection of MoMA but RD has the copyright. I'm removing the tag. I have personally spoken with the artist. Modernist (talk) 00:35, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:FSSP 1d.pdf

Unclear which article this pdf diagram is for. No sourcing available. Breno talk 15:56, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

I intended to use this image for "Firing squad synchronization problem" article, but I didn't use it. So I don't mind if it is deleted. I uploaded and used FSSP_1d1.png instead. I created both images myself, but to be completly honest, I was inspired by similar image in (Mazoyer, Jacques (1987). "A six-state minimal time solution to the firing squad synchronization problem". Theoretical Computer Science 50: 183--238). (Mjancuska (talk) 21:38, 10 January 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Image:Australian Six-Sided Uckers Board.jpg

Photos of games are considered to be derivative works, and hence copyrighted. Breno talk 16:28, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Uckers is not actually copyrighted, as it is a game made up by sailors going back hundreds of years. I am actully in the Royal Australian Navy and so can testify. It is my photo of my board that I myself made. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.5.131 (talk) 05:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:StoneRich© Studio Logo.jpg

Appears to be copyrighted, particularly since the filename has a copyright symbol in it! —Travistalk 16:49, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

This image Image:MSK.jpg is from the same user, which is the studio's name who wrote an article about the studio and put these two images in it which were up for speedy. If the article gets deleted, these images should as well. MECUtalk 18:37, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Unsure what scanned PDF text is for. Pretty much unsalvagable content. Are people posting scanned PDFs into Wikipedia in order to get search engine hits? --Breno talk 17:13, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Velvet dvorit.jpg

Looks like an image taken from the press and likely not actually GFDL. The uploader User:Marina T. has a history of disregarding proper licensing. — Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 23:15, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
