Looks like a promo shot. I believe the copyright holder is not the uploader as claimed. Nv8200p talk 00:38, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Wallpaper dreamworld.jpg

Looks to be promotional advertisement for DreamWorld, not free image. Ricky81682 (talk) 03:40, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Whitecloud-ND.jpg

No indication that the National Buffalo Museum released the image into the public domain and a buffalo located at a zoo could arguably be a replaceable image. Ricky81682 (talk) 03:45, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Varnava Rosic.jpg

Being from Serbian wikipedia is probably not enough to indicate GFDL license. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

There's some more source information at sr:Слика:Varnava Rosic.jpg. We should find a Serbian Wikipedian who can translate. —Remember the dot (talk) 05:27, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Star Alliance.png

This is not available from Star Alliance, if so, please provide a source. Additionally, WP:LOGO states that fair use is ok for identification only on a very limited basis, meaning a logo of an airline can only be used on the article of that airline, thereby, the use of the logo of the airlines on the Star article does not constitute fair use. Россавиа Диалог 18:12, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

The logos represented are all currently members of Star alliance and use of their logos by Star alliance may be considered as Star Alliance also having the permission to use these logos, and therefore it does not violate fair use conditions, for the Star Alliance website itself has pictures of these logos, and it may be said that the picture being discussed is simply these various logos grouped together to show the current Star alliance members. User talk:Lax119 1:51, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Comment Star Alliance may very well have permission to use the logos of the various airlines, we do not and therefore have to abide by copyright laws, and the use of these logos are well outside the scope of fair use. --Россавиа Диалог 08:21, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

This one much better demonstrates the member airlines than the list in the text (with all the subsidiaries of current members, potential members, future members, etc.) This graphic is quick and easy to see, a definite keeper. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.205.160.147 (talk) 16:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Comment The problem is, is that it does not fulfill fair use guidelines for copyrights images, these being logos. --Россавиа Диалог 08:21, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Have to agree with Россавиа that member airline logos do not meet fair use guidelines only the star alliance logo on its own. MilborneOne (talk) 13:44, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Fails the test at Wikipedia:Non-free content#Images 2, #8: it's a magazine cover image that's being used simply to illustrate the game, rather than in a discussion about the cover itself. Hux (talk) 22:53, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
