The source given is another wikipedia page that has a big shiny red (C) on it and language I can't read and a link to a website that doesn't say anything about being a work of the US Federal Government MECU≈talk 00:08, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- There are users (possibly admins) in wikipedia who understand Malayalam. - It's the work of the Government of Kerala and from this website. The Federal Govt PD tag is obviously inaccurate. Indian central government images are not PD, but state government have varying rules. However, as the official photo of his term as CM, it has historical significance and is irreplaceable. Images uploaded by Pana ivan are all high-quality, yet low-resolution and cropped and lack EXIF data. The user has not provided adequate source information on any of his uploads, except to mark them as "self-made" and date of the photograph.
