self-made license is clearly false. Copyright belongs to a Harrison Funk, which I assume is not the uploader Mosmof (talk) 00:25, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Jessjacksonstudio.jpg
Apparently a promo shot found at artist's MySpace profile, no evidence of free license. Mosmof (talk) 00:36, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- This is the direct link to the image on the artist MySpace page: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=20525677&albumID=0&imageID=243131 (requires Myspace login, obviously) --Mosmof (talk) 04:07, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Derivative work. Kelly hi! 01:36, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I took the pic... what makes you think a blurry ticket pic with the seat info X'd out would be unfree? --Endless Dan 12:05, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Considering that almost all of this user's photo uploads have turned out to be copyrighted images with false PD licenses, there needs to be more evidence that the user owns the rights to this image. Mosmof (talk) 05:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Pics was taken by the owner/user who has uploaded onto Wikipedia and has completed all the steps and feels that it has passed Wikipedia licensing Your1727 (talk) 21:11, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Queen Club in Tongduchon South Korea.jpg
Checked source link, no hint of free license on image or sites general usage conditions. Site insists uploaders grant them unlimited license & don't violate anyone else's copyright, that's all. Simon Speed (talk) 11:05, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Self-made/public domain license is obviously false, as it belongs to FHM, not the uploader — Blake Gripling (talk) 12:09, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Blatant copyright violation. Not truthful about ownership so release invalid. Deleted.--NrDg 12:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

illustration from book/magazine as "watermark" indicates in the top left of the image, 1943 date may not be free but may be a work of the federal government, definately not pd-self MECU≈talk 12:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

no source explicitly stated, but permission claimed for "academic reseach and publication" but then 3 PD tags are used, but a 1900 date may make this free but it's from South Africa or Netherlands. MECU≈talk 13:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

- For some reason source description did not copy. I restored this. Image is solidly in the '70 years or less' public domain of the three PD-tags used (they complement each other!). The image was produced in 1900 in the Netherlands. Note on reusage was misconstrued or phrased inaccurately: keeper of the image (Provincial Archives of the Free State, South Africa) just appreciates full recognition of custodianship in re-usage and notification through address given. Hope this suffices; please remove tag. Michel Doortmont (talk) 20:26, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Contreas.jpg
low resolution and no metadata, other uploads are similar, likely taken from web MECU≈talk 13:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Cosmos_tubulaire.jpg
"This picture was a courtesy of Ginette. I hoped to convinced to join Wikipedia in 2002. She did not, but offered full use of her pictures." what does full use mean? Does it mean "release under the GDFL"? MECU≈talk 13:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I changed the tag to that Copyrighted Free Use one, it's not GFDL, but it's still free enough for Wikipedia and is correct in parallel to her claim. ViperSnake151 14:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Echinops.jpg
no statement released under GFDL, "full use" is not acceptable MECU≈talk 14:21, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Did you consider asking Anthere? I'm sure she is familiar with GFDL requirements. Either the image is compliant or she would agree to its deletion. Not sure why a discussion here is needed... WjBscribe 19:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
