Permission only extends to WP. Eligible for speedy, but I have suggested that the uploader make contact again with the author to get proper permission. There are about 10 more images in the same situation, by the way. But|seriously|folks 01:08, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

- Even so, might not the "non-free character" tag apply? Though if you think not I'll ask again - what is it, for completely free use? Roscelese 17:46, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Uploader revised a prior image which was apparently uploaded as self-made with all rights released. Unfortunately, the prior image and its creator are not identified, and this presents a GFDL problem. But|seriously|folks 05:53, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- While I'm not a lawyer, I believe if the previous creator released all rights, their inclusion as a contributor is not required by any license. The derivative work was what was GFDL'd. i kan reed 21:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

stated source is an entertainment website but tagged with conflicting licenses (self-made and promotional). bluemask (talk) 23:59, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- hi. i decided to take out the "self-made" license tag, i'm still not good at copyrighting images correctly. since billy crawford's image is from an entertainment website that contains news reports and the like i decided to use the "non-free promotional" tag. this image is the most current one of billy and i decide for it to not get deleted. i don't have an account for that site (may not plan on getting one) so i haven't spoken to the editor of the image or site. we can still fix the problem if needed. thanks for reading.
