Image is taken from http://www.janet-online.com, an image archive which states in its disclaimer that "The content in the pictures section derives mostly from visitors' contributions, therefore we cannot control the source of these pictures". It would make sense that the creator of the image would have a watermark-less version to upload. Kurt Shaped Box 00:51, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

This looks legit - see Wikipedia:Successful_requests_for_permission#Images_from_www.HisXpress.com (linked to on image page). A concern does arise that they granted the GFDL to wikipedia, but I'm not sure if it's worth pursuing.... Calliopejen1 13:20, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

I will clarify on photo-tips.ca that some photos on that website have also been licensed under CC and posted to Wikipedia, or Wikimedia. Hopefully that satisfies your concern. (For the record, I am the photographer, and I also run the website photo-tips.ca) Webgeer 20:11, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
