[edit] Image:Avicenna Afghan Physician.jpg

Image is marked as PD-self. However, the edit summary of the initial upload had the URL [1]. Seeing as it was an upload from the google cache originally [2], I doubt that the uploader is the original author of this image, and it's an image they found on a website (or using Google image search). — Kesac (talk) 02:01, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

The "myself, public domain" claim is somewhat open to question without a very clear source. Jusjih (talk) 02:24, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Claimed PD but without enough evidence. Jusjih (talk) 02:31, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

PD claim removed. Additional Fair Use clarification provided.Tonymartin (talk) 02:04, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I see your fair use claim, but WP:PUI requires two people to agree your claim, so I am waiting for any extra comments then I will be willing ti withdraw this.--Jusjih (talk) 03:15, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Image is too high resolution. Needs to be reduced under 100K. Otherwise, it should qualify for fair use. -Nv8200p talk 04:55, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

No evidence of PD claim from source site found. Jusjih (talk) 02:46, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

CV. The image is tagged as public domain, when it is in fact a screenshot from the game's trailer, which is copywritten. CardinalFangZERO (talk) 08:52, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Change to fair use (not by me). MECUtalk 15:22, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Robert Doisneau photographed by Bracha L. Ettinger in his studio in Montrouge, 1992.jpg‎

The source contradicts GFDL. The uploader says that the creator gave him permission to use it in two articles, and it contradicts GFDL. — Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 15:52, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Girls at The Cairo National Stadium photo03.jpg

It is an image from a film and there is no proof that it is GFDL. — Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 16:05, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Customsuit.jpg

The uploader claims public domain, but there is a (c) and TM watermark. I e-mailed the domain listed on the image and am awaiting a reply. WODUP 21:46, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

I've now confirmed that the image is in the public domain and forwarded the confirmation e-mail to the Communications Committee OTRS. WODUP 07:17, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
