image does not appear on linked page. — Pdbailey 02:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Has since been moved to commons (while it was tagged PUI! agh, why do people do this), can someone nominate it to be deleted there? Calliopejen1 23:23, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

no evidence work is that of USDA and not licensed — Pdbailey 02:23, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- It's on the US forest service website, should be fine. Calliopejen1 23:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Kept - forest service is a subset of USDA. The Evil Spartan 03:38, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

No indication on source page or otherwise that copyright holder has released into PD. – Chacor 12:28, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Uploader asserts PD-self, but it's clearly a screen-cap, and therefore copyright is not his to give away. DMacks 15:15, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Jmauriello.jpg
Appears to have been uploaded by the MIA sockpuppet of a banned user. Tagged with {{GFDL-self-with-disclaimers}}, probably to circumvent WP:NFCC#1. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 20:04, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't believe this image to be within the proper guidelines for images. This image, I believe, was lifted from the subject's former myspace, without her consent, by the blocked user. I'm a prominent member of the fan community for the subject and have had offwiki dealings with the blocked user, a stalker of the subject who, most recently, lifted more pictures from her facebook. One of these almost found its way here, a rather inappropriate pic for any article, not to metion one for a 16-year-old. I'm in the process of contacting the subject's agent to get a replacement. Until then, I would recommend pulling and deleting the image. --Sethacus 16:29, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use & GFDL? It seems unlikely the image is released under the GFDL license. Garion96 (talk) 21:08, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:ACE Holding.jpg
I do not believe this image is PD - it would have to have been taken before 1957, and Holding certainly looks older than 25 in the photo. FiggyBee 23:10, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Appears to be an WP:SPA using {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to circumvent WP:NFCC#1. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 23:46, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, it "circumvents" the entiriety of WP:NFCC by using the GDFL. So, unless you doubt that User:Radione is the copyright owner, what's the problem? FiggyBee 02:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, that's what I was attempting to infer. Radione (talk · contribs) has a history of uploading images of Lexie Kaye; while I can't view the deleted images, it appears to have been a series of copyright images which were deleted, which has now led the uploader to claim the images under a "free license" which excuses them from the requirements of WP:NFCC. Further, the image is a "self portrait Lexie Kaye", leading me to doubt that the uploader (and supposed copyright holder) is "Lexie Kaye". — pd_THOR | =/\= | 02:26, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Well, a previous image summary did say "This is a picture of myself", and the logs show that one was deleted for having an overly restrictive licence, not because the copyright ownership was in doubt. Given that User:Radione also created the article Lexie Kaye, I'm inclined to think that it is her. Of course, Lexie Kaye is currently at AfD, so if it goes this will all be moot as the image will be deletable as an orphan. FiggyBee 02:43, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- And really, because I don't think the image is an obvious, outright licensing violation, I just brought it up here as opposed to simply nominating it for deletion. It could be legit, I just didn't think so and brought it up as such. And true re: the AfD; should the image be listed alongside the article in case it is deleted for the closing admin? — pd_THOR | =/\= | 02:53, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like the AfD is heading towards delete, so it's probably worth mentioning it there, yeah. FiggyBee 06:40, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
