[edit] Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. It looks like you already know somethings other newcomers don't - like signing your name (with current date) on Talk and vote pages using 4 tildes (~~~~) - but since no one had welcomed you yet I thought I would do so. One thing that is expected is that encyclopedia articles be written from a neutral point of view and not sound like they're advertising the subject of the article.
If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page (but don't be disappointed if I don't respond right away as I am very busy these days and not nearly as active on Wikipedia as I was last year). Again, welcome! -DoctorW 22:15, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
