[edit] Scope of the template

This template cannot possibly contain all the potential articles on postmodern subjects, so I propose limiting it to the most general branches postmodernism. COGDEN

[edit] I've restored some of the cuts

I propose in future that changes to the series be discussed here first because of the number of changes involved. And please sign post. Stirling Newberry 03:14, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Sorry. Forgot to sign. My problem is I don't understand why Minimalism is in the series but not Postmodern art (or pop art, or photorealism, etc.). Similarly, both Postmodern music and Minimalist music are in the series, which is a bit redundant. And Globalization is an aspect of postmodernism, but the globalization article isn't really about postmodernism. If we're going to include articles like globalization, we also have to include every article that has something to do with postmodernism or postmodernity, like decentralization, localism, late capitalism, anti-globalization movement, etc. The standard should be, we include articles primarily about postmodernism in general, or as applied to a specific general field. [edit] Deconstructivism

Hi, can we added Deconstructivism (particularly architecture) to the template? It's become a big school of thought in architecture - or more precisely - the surface appearance of deconstructivism has become a trend in architecture. --Mcginnly 16:49, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
