Postal codes in China

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The postal code for the People's Republic of China uses a numeric six-digit system for the whole country.

The first two digits show the province, province-equivalent municipality, or autonomous region; the third digit the postal zone; the fourth digit the prefectures or prefecture-level city; the last two digits the delivery post office.

Hong Kong and Macau, which have their own postal systems, do not have postal codes.
