Posta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 80 km northeast of Rome and about 25 km northeast of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 819 and an area of 66.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Posta contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bacugno, Figino, Fontarello, and Steccato.
