[edit] difficult-to-read CAPTCHA

I was recently editing as an anon, and I inserted an external link into an article. As expected, I was prompted to type the text I saw in an image presented to me. However, this one was really friggin' difficult to read. Who can I show this to to suggest that CAPTCHAs need to be human-readable (and not just not-machine-readable)?

If you use freenode IRC (see WP:IRC), then probably either #mediawiki or #wikimedia-tech. If not, then probably WP:VPT is the place to head. As an alternative, perhaps you could suggest allowing for a more obvious means of getting a new captcha, if the current one proves too difficult to read. – Luna Santin (talk) 06:13, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
