User talk:Porken Beans
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the last time, take whatever dispute you have through the standard Wikipedia:Dispute resolution mechanism, including Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration. If you just keep creating sockpuppets and engaging in petty actions (including vandalism and personal attacks for most of your prior socks) you'll get nowhere. -- Curps 03:50, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- I have only a two word response for you:
- Fuck. You.
- All you do is ban excessively. This is the first message you have left in weeks, and you have a "shoot first, ask questions later" attitude that really pisses me the hell off. You treat me as the aggressor when Chad Bryant sits around and does what he does without any action on your part at all. Recently he has removed comments from the talk page of an article simply because he and the other user were involved in an altercation on the page. The user claimed a fact; Chad Bryant disputed it; the user then posted a rebuttal, and Chad Bryant promptly deleted the rebuttal, thus making it look like he has the last word. This is VERY COMMON BEHAVIOR from him -- in his frame of mind, he has to "win" at these things, no matter what it takes.
- Again -- Fuck. You.
- You think you are such hot shit banning various accounts yet you won't say a thing about it (with the exception of this entry) and you call it a "sockpuppet" yet you let Chad run around abusing user pages, WHO THE HELL put him with the authority to do that? I'll tell you who -- HIMSELF. He does not have the authority to do this, and indeed he has been rebuked on at least four seperate occassions for this, the most notable one having comments to the effect of that he is the "instigator" and that it "doesn't help" when he does that, yet you allow him to continue to do so.
- Eat shit and die, Curps. I'm more than willing to discuss things rationally with you but until you stop letting Chad run around pulling pigtails on Wikipedia and stealing the fingerpaints from the other children in the classroom like some autistic five-year old, you're going to have to deal with me creating multiple accounts. I'm tired of your bullshit with this one-sided nonsense, and I am more than aware that you are aware of this. --Porken Beans 03:55, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
(by the way -- I just created another account. Better go ban it while you can!)

- Weeks ago I tried talking to you and suggested you take whatever your issue is to dispute resolution or arbitration. You seemingly agreed but you never followed through. You just kept creating more sockpuppets and engaging in petty personal attacks and petty vandalism (changing an image caption to read "special olympics", adding Chad Bryant's name to a list of criminal offenders on some page if I remember correctly, etc). I don't even know or care what your wrestling-related issues or disputes are with Chad Bryant... I don't follow wrestling newsgroups or the wrestling pages on Wikipedia. I'm not taking Chad Bryant's side... it's your antics that are getting you blocked, nothing more. It's your lack of self-control.

- Earlier I explained to you the reason for having an official policy of Wikipedia:No personal attacks. We're not trying to be hypocritically polite, it's just that insulting a person makes them even more ornery and less likely to try to see your point of view, which intensifies edit wars, which is a bad thing for an encyclopedia that anyone can edit. So we really insist on "no personal attacks".
-
- A few weeks or months ago you seemed to indicate that you understood this, and agreed to take it to arbitration instead, but then you started up again almost immediately with the personal attacks. I'm not sure if I've seen you go more than 24 hours without making some kind of schoolyard taunt at someone. Your post above is just another example of this.
-
- You're also contradicting yourself on the subject of sockpuppets. Basically, sockpuppets = multiple accounts by the same person. On the one hand you insist that all those dozens or hundreds of prior accounts aren't sockpuppets, insisting there's no proof, and you keep reverting the tags placed on those user pages... on the other hand you say above "I'll keep creating multiple accounts", and in earlier messages you used the first-person pronoun "I" to refer to the actions of those earlier accounts. It doesn't help credibility if you make people think they're being lied to, and not very convincingly. Perhaps that's a misunderstanding that you can clarify, or perhaps you weren't aware of the meaning of the word "sockpuppet" (see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet). But regardless of whether you use the word "sockpuppets" or "multiple accounts", all those prior accounts were you, and simultaneously denying it and boasting about it makes no sense at all.

- As you can see from what happened to your latest socks, I'm not the only admin blocking you. -- Curps 06:22, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
