I just modified the founding date back to 1994. It had been changed to 1992, but I am unaware of any evidence supporting that date. A google groups message supports the March/April 1994 date. -- Russell Senior
- The 1992 date came from another early pdx.computing post - "Who wants give linux a PLUG?. A few months back, I talked with Ian and he assured me that post was not the origins of the PLUG group. So, you're right. Here's what appears to be Sean's first post on the subject: "Linux Users Group!!!". -- Rasp 20:55, 22 December 2005 (UTC) (AKA Dan Haskell)
I would strongly encourage editors of this page to not make pot shots at that other user group. We really don't want to start up that old fight again, do we??
