I think this needs a lot of editing... especially with paragraphs, and needs original text etc., as this seems to be copied from elsewhere, along with changing the strange present tense at the end of the article to an appropriate tense. [edit] Possible copyright infringement, I am reverting

I am seriously concerned that this page has had a copyright violation since revision no.39639259 (see the diff). I found the exact text at http://www.sellandbuydirect.com/infoalgarve/historyofportimao.html which, according to [1] is a real estate website selling Portuguese property. I am unsure whether they copied the text from Wikipedia or whether the anon copied the text to here from there, but I am reverting nonetheless and will add as much text as I can translate as a pt-0/pt-1 user from the Portugues article. --Iamunknown 22:59, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
